This policy describes how "MikuMikuWeather" (this website and the Android app, collectively the "Service") handles user information.

Information We Collect

The Service collects and stores the following information.

• When you log in with X (Twitter): your user ID, display name, screen name, and icon image URL. We do not access your email address, direct messages, or posts. Credentials such as passwords are handled by X and never stored by the Service.
• Sign-in date/time, count, and IP address
• User preferences such as language and timezone
• Uploaded themes (images, name, description, author name, license selection). These are published publicly.
• Theme download records (hashed IP address, User-Agent, date/time). IP addresses are stored only as irreversible hashes.
• Server access logs (IP address, User-Agent, etc.), including forecast API requests from the Android app.

Location Data in the App

The Android app may use your device's location to automatically select the forecast area. Location data is processed only on the device and is never sent outside it; only the resolved area code is sent to the server.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for session management, such as keeping you logged in. No tracking cookies for analytics or advertising are used.

Purpose of Use

• Providing the Service (authentication, publishing and distributing themes, delivering weather forecasts)
• Preventing abuse
• Understanding usage statistics

Third-Party Disclosure

We do not provide collected information to third parties except as required by law. Authentication uses X (Twitter) OAuth; X's handling of information during authentication follows X's privacy policy.

Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the settings page, which deletes your profile information. Statistical records such as download logs may be retained in a form that cannot identify individuals.
