Terms of Service

This is a reference translation. The Japanese version is the authoritative text.

These terms govern the use of the "MikuMikuWeather" website and Android app (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

Accounts

• Login to the Service uses your X (Twitter) account.
• The operator may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or show signs of abuse, without prior notice.
• You may delete your own account at any time from the settings page.

Uploading Themes

• You may upload only content for which you own the rights or have obtained the necessary permissions from the rights holders.
• When uploading content that uses characters such as Hatsune Miku, you are responsible for complying with the Piapro Character License (PCL) and any other applicable character licenses or guidelines.
• Uploaded themes are published under the license you select at upload time (CC license, PCL, Yuzuki Yukari character usage guidelines, or other).
• You grant the operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce and transmit your themes to the extent necessary to host, display, and distribute them on the Service.
• The operator may unpublish or delete uploads deemed infringing or otherwise inappropriate, without prior notice.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
• Gain unauthorized access or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service
• Place excessive load on the server or the API
• Act against public order and morals
• Engage in any other conduct the operator deems inappropriate

Disclaimer

• The Service is provided free of charge, "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
• Weather forecasts delivered by the Service are redistributions of data published by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), and their accuracy, completeness, and timeliness are not guaranteed. Always refer to official sources such as the JMA for safety-critical decisions.
• The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service

The operator may change, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice.

Changes to These Terms

The operator may revise these terms. Revised terms take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after posting constitutes acceptance of the changes.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the operator's place of residence in the first instance.
